Dimethyl Carbonate (DMC) production plant
DMC is a colorless, transparent, slightly odorous, and slightly sweet liquid at room temperature. According to the DMC content, products can be divided into three grades: battery grade, premium grade, and first grade.
There are many preparation methods of DMC, including ester exchange method, methanol carbonylation method, urea method and oxalic acid method. Among them, ester exchange method is the mainstream production process of DMC.
The capacity of DMC plant is from 10,000-300,000 tons per year.
Applications of DMC
Electronic grade: lithium ion battery electrolyte industry.
Industrial grade: paint, coating, adhesive industry, polycarbonate, gasoline and diesel fuel additives, pharmaceutical industry and pesticide industry.
